MORE THAN CROWNS: THE PURPOSE BEHIND SUMMIT INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS

Team Summit works hard to organize and promote the Summit International Pageants. The following is a short interview that team member Kelly Tran allowed us to explain the Summit's vision.

Q: Why and how did you create the Summit International Pageants?

The idea for Summit International Pageants was born from a desire to create a platform that uplifts individuals who lead with purpose, poise, and community impact. I wanted to build something that went beyond crowns and sashes—something that celebrated authenticity, leadership, and global citizenship. I created the pageant to be a summit, a meeting point, where diverse voices and cultures converge to elevate one another.
The process began with conversations—listening to what titleholders, advocates, and professionals felt was missing in the pageant world. From there, I assembled a team that believed in our mission to empower, connect, and spotlight changemakers. We focused on integrity, inclusivity, and leadership, and built everything—from branding to scoring criteria—with that in mind.

Q: What inspired you the most in choosing the name “Summit International Pageants”?

The word “Summit” symbolizes the highest point—a peak of achievement, personal growth, and global purpose. I wanted the name to reflect a journey of reaching one’s fullest potential while also standing for unity and excellence on an international level. Just like a summit brings leaders together to inspire solutions and progress, this pageant brings remarkable individuals together to amplify their impact.
Choosing "Summit International" also reflects the idea that this is more than a competition—it’s a global gathering of leaders, advocates, and role models. That vision, and the stories of people who rise above challenges to serve others, is what inspired the name the most.

Q: When did you create this pageant?

A: Summit International Incorporation was founded in 2017, and officially became a registered trademark in 2023, solidifying our commitment to excellence, leadership, and global recognition.
